Endurance Redefined: Navigating the Caregiver Journey with Strength is a 6-week online course that helps caregivers move beyond simply enduring to navigating with clarity, presence, and resilience.

Through the Recognize → Reset → Replenish framework, you’ll:

  • Recognize how your past experiences and natural caregiving style shape the way you show up today, and learn to separate what truly helps from what unintentionally drains or disconnects.
  • Reset by shifting from constant doing to intentional being. You’ll discover the power of presence, set healthy boundaries without guilt, and practice empowering communication that builds connection instead of pressure.
  • Replenish by creating a sustainable caregiving rhythm. You’ll celebrate your growth, build strategies for long-term resilience, and craft a personal mission statement to guide you through the challenges ahead.

By the end, you’ll walk away with practical tools, renewed perspective, and a personalized caregiving framework that helps you show up with strength and compassion—without losing yourself in the process.

The Wetsuit of Experience

Each of us steps into a caregiving wearing a wetsuit—stitched together by our past experiences, our expectations, and the behaviors we’ve learned over time.

At first, we believe it’s our armor, keeping us resilient, prepared, and ready for whatever comes next.

But then, the wear and tear begins to show.

The stress, the exhaustion, the impossible balancing act—they all create tiny rips in the fabric. And instead of acknowledging them, we patch them.

We cover up our exhaustion by taking on more responsibility.
We bury our doubts under layers of self-sacrifice.
We mask our grief by staying busy—doing more, pushing forward, never pausing long enough to feel the weight of it all.

Facing the Waves of Caregiving

Stepping into caregiving feels like standing at the edge of an unknown sea—unpredictable, overwhelming, yet filled with purpose. The waves may bring challenges, but they also carry moments of connection, resilience, and strength. With each step forward, caregivers learn to navigate the tides, finding balance between responsibility and self-care.

Grace in the Wreckage

When life turns upside down, it’s easy to focus on what’s been lost. But even in the wreckage, there’s an opportunity to shift perspective—to find strength in the struggle, gratitude in the chaos, and grace in the rebuilding. True resilience isn’t just about surviving the storm; it’s about discovering the beauty that can still rise from it.

Love Endures Beyond the Finish

The journey may end, but the connection remains. In caregiving, love is not measured by time but by presence, compassion, and the moments shared. Even as we say goodbye, love carries on—unchanged, unbroken, enduring beyond the finish.

In Between Seasons Coaching

As a Physical Therapist with 31 years experience and a IPEC trained Wellness Life Coach, Speaker, I have the tools and the understanding to help you to create the life you imagine and get a renewed sense of self.

In a 21 month period I was required to take extended family leave 4 times to care for family members and a friend of our family. By Actively Listening and Applying the Athletic Strategies I developed as an endurance athlete I was able to navigate the caregiving journey with less stress.

I am husband, father, son and brother, friend, ultra athlete, triathlete and  a Marked Man for Christ.

As a care-partner, I co-create a world of love, trust, and focus by fostering compassionate connections, embracing intentional actions, and nurturing a supportive partnership where both I and the care recipient thrive.
